From build.log:

t/02.syntax.t . ok
#   Failed test 'SQL::Abstract - no limit'
# at t/03.subclass.t line 33.
# 'SELECT col1, col2 FROM table WHERE this = ?'
# doesn't match '(?^:^SELECT\ col1\,\ col2\ FROM\ table\ WHERE\ \(\ this\
\=\ \?\ \)$)'
# Looks like you failed 1 test of 3.
t/03.subclass.t ...
Dubious, test returned 1 (wstat 256, 0x100)
Failed 1/3 subtests

This is probably triggered by upgrading perl-SQL-Abstract from 1.87-4.fc33 to
2.01-1.fc34 .

[Bug 1905190] biber FTBFS in Rawhide (F34): tests fail on different \field{sortinithash} values

2021-02-01 Thread bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1905190

The very first failure is captured at
. This failure is similar to
an older bug #1674692. This time triggered by upgrading perl-Unicode-Collate
from 1.27-457.fc33 to 1.28-1.fc34. Maybe a new biber-2.16 (bug #1869114)
contains the fix.

[Bug 1923441] New: biber: FTBFS in Fedora rawhide/f34

2021-02-01 Thread bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1923441

Bug ID: 1923441
Summary: biber: FTBFS in Fedora rawhide/f34
   Product: Fedora
   Version: rawhide
Status: NEW
 Component: biber
  Assignee: c...@m.fsf.org
  Reporter: rel...@fedoraproject.org
QA Contact: extras...@fedoraproject.org
CC: c...@m.fsf.org, jn...@redhat.com, mefos...@gmail.com,
perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org
Blocks: 1868278 (F34FTBFS)
  Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora

biber failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f34

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=60910501

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_34_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix biber at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
biber will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 35,
biber will be retired, if it still fails to build.

For more details on the FTBFS policy, please visit:
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/
