Early this week, a number of Muslims have contacted CAIR to alert us about the picture. CAIR immediately contacted Lycos and requested the removal of the offensive posting. In discussion with CAIR, Lycos customer service apologized for the error and assured us that it was caused by the lack of knowledge of the sensitivity of this issue.
