I took MS210 Integrated Pest Management online through Northern States

Hi everyone,

I’m a sucker for FAIC’s “Connecting to Collections Care” website. Most of their
webinars are free, and there are a TON. Here’s the introductory IPM webinar:
https://www.connectingtocollections.org/ipmpart1/

There’s a second part, and I think there are other webinars available for IPM
as well. You can search their resources page for whatever topic you want:
https://www.connectingtocollections.org/resources/ (just select “webinar” in
“Resource Type” and have at it).

Hope this helps!

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for introduction to IPM for Museums course
that are online?

I am looking for something aimed at conservators/people with a background of
working in collections, with a focus on identifying infestations in collection
material. I want to give conservation staff conducting gallery checks a
background in looking out for the signs that a specimen/object is infested.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Rehan,

Here is a better link to the course that Rahul mentioned
https://www.museumstudy.com/introduction-to-integrated-pest-management

You already know the instructor Gretchen Anderson.

The Intro course will likely run next in April, but if you have a group
we can talk about doing a special running of the course for you.
