[pgadmin-hackers] Support for sslverify
We've seen it here and Dave reported to me on IM that he has received further reports of people getting stuck by the new 8.4 SSL code that verifies server certificates by default. I think this will happen for example for everybody who has their pg on a debian server and their client elsewhere, for example, since debian enables a snakeoil SSL cert by default (which in itself is a pretty bad idea, but it's what they do) Should we provide an option to override this (connection option sslverify) in the connection dialog? And is it something we need to do for this version (yes, I know it's already in beta..) //Magnus -- Sent via pgadmin-hackers mailing list (pgadmin-hackers@postgresql.org) To make changes to your subscription: http://www.postgresql.org/mailpref/pgadmin-hackers

Anyways, it's available there: http://developer.pgadmin.org/~guillaume/visualtour/ I would love to get comments/ideas/patches on this. For example, I'm not sure about the miscellanous part. Perhaps I should get rid of it. I can put it on my blog, but I think it would be better on pgAdmin's website. If so, then please go ahead and fix pgAdmin :-) Note that the server connection diagloue is already pretty much at the maximum height, so any changes there will probably need to include splitting of the tabset. -- Dave Page EnterpriseDB UK: http://www.enterprisedb.com -- Sent via pgadmin-hackers mailing list (pgadmin-hackers@postgresql.org) To make changes to your subscription: http://www.postgresql.org/mailpref/pgadmin-hackers

[pgadmin-hackers] some items in .po file
Hi, Guillaume In file frmStatus.cpp, from line 42 to 45. Them should be defined by macro _(""). Because all of them should be translated. And about the word "Source". In Chinese, they are different in "function/package source" and "source and destination". Can you seperate them? #: src/schema/pgFunction.cpp:135 #: src/schema/pgFunction.cpp:151 #: pgadmin/schema/edbPackageFunction.cpp:146 #: pgadmin/schema/pgFunction.cpp:180 #: pgadmin/schema/edbPackageFunction.cpp:158 #: pgadmin/schema/pgFunction.cpp:184 #: pgadmin/gqb/gqbGridJoinTable.cpp:268 msgid "Source" msgstr "來源" to #: src/schema/pgFunction.cpp:135 #: src/schema/pgFunction.cpp:151 #: pgadmin/schema/edbPackageFunction.cpp:146 #: pgadmin/schema/pgFunction.cpp:180 #: pgadmin/schema/edbPackageFunction.cpp:158 #: pgadmin/schema/pgFunction.cpp:184 msgid "Source" msgstr "" and #: pgadmin/gqb/gqbGridJoinTable.cpp:268 msgid "Source" msgstr "" Regards. --- Quan Zongliang quanzongli...@gmail.com -- Sent via pgadmin-hackers mailing list (pgadmin-hackers@postgresql.org) To make changes to your subscription: http://www.postgresql.org/mailpref/pgadmin-hackers

They are same word. Define them in gqbGridJoinTable.cpp as "Source column" and "Destination column"? --- Quan Zongliang quanzongli...@gmail.com -- Sent via pgadmin-hackers mailing list (pgadmin-hackers@postgresql.org) To make changes to your subscription: http://www.postgresql.org/mailpref/pgadmin-hackers

After be translated, the word "Start" and "End" will be easy to confusing the Chinese user. --- Quan Zongliang quanzongli...@gmail.com -- Sent via pgadmin-hackers mailing list (pgadmin-hackers@postgresql.org) To make changes to your subscription: http://www.postgresql.org/mailpref/pgadmin-hackers
