pgAdmin removed the Qt dependency in v5.0. I'd suggest installing the
standalone build of pgAdmin from www.pgadmin.org until the PostgreSQL
installers catch up. It'll happily live alongside your existing
installation.

Hi, I'm attempting to install Postgres 13.2 on my MacBook Pro.  When I start 
pgAdmin 4, it appears to quit immediately.  I found this in the Installation 
Notes:

pgAdmin 4 v4.x on macOS BigSur

There is a known issue of pgAdmin freezing on launch on macOS BigSur because of 
a bug in Qt 5.13 and 5.14 versions. Till this issue is fixed, the work-around 
for this is to set the variable QT_MAC_WANTS_LAYER.

How and where do I set this variable?
