no grid displayed in Chrome
I just upgraded to v3.1 and now I am not getting any grid displays or query editors when using pgAdmin in Chrome. Everything seems to be fine when using Firefox however. In chrome things look pretty normal until I try to get a query window. The connection icon in the upper left is the only thing visible in the query window and it shows that the connection is broken. However I know this is incorrect since it works fine in FF. Also in Chrome the Dashboard seems fine and I can see that the connection is in fact working correctly. It seems like maybe there is something in Chrome that is cached that is messing things up, possibly? Any ideas how to get things working properly in v3.1? My pgAdmin is broken
A couple of days ago I tried upgrading to v3.0. This never worked for me. Normally I activate the python environment and then install the latest wheel file to upgrade. I was never able to login successfully on v3.0. So I gave up and tried to go back to v2.1, again I did so by reinstalling the v2.1 wheel file. However afterwards I can't launch pgAdmin. I get this error message: alembic.util.exc.CommandError: Can't locate revision identified by '50aad68f99c2' I've now burned several hours on trying to fix this. What is the best way to at least get back to a working system with v2.1? In the future is there some better way to upgrade or revert to a previous version when things go wrong? Re: pgadmin4.3 - login failure
I am also having problems logging in since upgrading to pgAdmin4 3.0. Mine are more like those found in this bug: https://redmine.postgresql.org/issues/3297 I also tried using the docker image, but that was even worse, it says that my local postgres server isn't accepting connections. I don't think this is the same problem as issue 3094 because I never see the notification at all, whereas the description of issue 3094 says that the notification does appear eventually. listen/notify not working in pgadmin 4 2.1
I was trying to test a notify/listen channel but couldn't get things working in PGAdmin4. I'm running it in server mode with Python on Linux. Eventually I went back to PGAdmin3 and listened on the same channel and everything worked fine. When the notification happened I simply ran: select 1; in the same connection and the notify data appeared in the messages tab as expected. When I try the same thing in PGAdmin4 there are no errors, but I cannot see anything indicating that a notification was published. Is there some other/better way of listening for and seeing notifications in PGAdmin4? Great that worked, thanks. One other question. Our server is still at pgAdmin4 < 2.0. I never upgraded it because when I upgraded to 2.0 on my notebook all of my saved sql files were no longer available. Where are those files stored? Is there a simple way to backup and restore those files? Upgraded to v2.1 now Query Tool not working
Hi I'm on Ubuntu using the wheel version of pgAdmin4 v2.1, which I upgraded to this morning. There were no apparent errors during the upgrade process, after having restarted things I can no longer use the Query Tool in Google Chrome. The page comes up empty except for a blue bar separating the button bar from the editor below. None of the buttons react on the button bar. I tried using it from the latest version of Firefox and the Query Tools seems to be working fine. How can I get this working on Chrome? error loading script after updating to 1.6
hi, after upgrading from 1.5 to 1.6 today I've been getting errors in Chrome. It says error loading script and points to a pga_job.js. The only way I've been able to clear this error is to clear my browser cache (which is a total pain for all the disruption it causes). I run the python version of PGAdmin4 on Ubuntu. I usually use the server version hosted on one of our AWS machines. But lately it has been having trouble when working with a local instance of Postgres running on my dev machine (SSL SYSCALL error: EOF detected) I don't know why all of the sudden I have been having the server instance of PGAdmin connect to my local DB. It has been working successfully for a couple of months at least. So I updated my local instance of PGAdmin on my dev machine to 1.6 and now I'm again getting these loading script errors. And I'm not wanting to clear my browser cache again.
