Wow, that is pretty darn incredible ! I can't imagine that many of them
produced or sold. I wonder why there is not a hint on or in the cabinet or on
the bed plate as to who made it .

When I read about a six spring machine I remembered one that I had thirty years
ago.
I got it up at the Brimfield , Ma. flea market and thought it was quite a find.
Had it for a little while before I sold it.

Never did find out what or who made it.

Hope I did this correctly.

Astounding! Seems odd that with the ready-availability of Edison
Standards years ago that somebody would choose to remake the entire deck
plate and most of the top end mechanicals. But the 64 dollar question is:
WHAT is with the 6 springs ??!! Maybe the guy wanted to wind it once and
have it play for the rest of his life. WTF? Might make sense if it was a
coin-op that got wound only once a month. I don't get it.

I am offering two Rigid arm Victor items for sale.

1. A Rigid arm Victor E back bracket. It looks like at one time it
was nickel plated which is strange to me as I always thought the E size
brackets were painted black. $475

2. A Rigid arm Victor E case, motor, turntable, back bracket (painted
black), correct brake, and a record hold down. I am not sure if the record
hold down or turntable are original. The motor runs fine. $975

The asking price will include shipping in the continental US. Please
contact me if you are interested and would like pictures.

Thanks,

Ken Brekke
