What condition is the Baby Regent? Is the finish original? We are also
looking for some inexpensive upright Victor machines such as a X or XI. What
condition is the XVI? Thanks, Bob Cole

I guess I have a wish list item to add to the pile: an upright Pathe
Actuelle, which is the Pathe disc machine with the wacky umbrella parasol
style tonearm/sound radiator gizmo.

I've craved one for a really long time, and finally found one a little
while ago. It was going to get handed off to another friend at Union to
be brought back to me, but the deal fell apart for a bunch of really
tragic reasons that I still feel pretty awful about. But that's another
story.

In any case, if any of you have a lead on one for less than $500 in decent
shape and functional - and that could make its way to Union - please let
me know.

[Phono-L] Union wish list

2010-05-25 Thread Ken and Brenda Brekke
It is that time of year again. The Union phonograph show is just a couple
of weeks away. If you have never been to this phonograph show, I would
highly recommend attending. Some of the rarest phonographs, parts, and
records are available at this show. Several of the best dealers and
collectors make the annual pilgrimage to this Holy Grail of phonograph
shows.

Hopefully, someone might have some items that I am looking for.I am
looking for the spring barrel end support stanchion for a pre-dog Victor MS
motor. I am also looking for the small wood boxes that Victor Concert or
Exhibition reproducers came in. One other part I might need to look for is
a reproducer for a Victor rigid arm. If anyone has these parts, please
contact me off list at kb...@charter.net

Well, the annual pilgrimage to the Union phonograph show is coming up quick.
I would like to put out my "Wish List" for anyone bringing items to sell. I
am looking for a Victor A or B, An Edison under glass cabinet and machine,
any Rigid arm Victor, any volume controls for Victor or Edison reproducers,
an extended wooden tone arm for a Victor M or MS, and an original Triumph
cygnet horn crane. I know my list is a long shot but it's worth a try.
Please contact me off list at kbab1 at charter.net if you might be bringing any
