Anyone notice this auction?

Seems awfully high for this piece.  Plus the machine looks like someone put
some kind of horrible clear coat on it.

Any thoughts?

Wow - $8000 for a CW "XVI"?  And it hasn't hit reserve with 17 bids?  Looks 
like shill city to me.  You're right - the clearcoat certainly isn't original!
