This bug has been fixed in CVS. In case this was a PHP problem, snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/. In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites in short time. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better. Also, get this browscap.ini: http://www.garykeith.com/browsers/downloads.asp Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-03-14 09:16:52] tilman dot giese at globalview dot de I am using the browscap feature on two servers and I have encountered a mysterious behavior. Although both servers are nearly identical (one is in our private network and the other one available on the internet), the public server reports the error message in the summary very often. At first, I thought that it would be the browscap file itself, but after I changed to a more recent version, the error remained (despite the fact that line 6801 has changed). Now, I suspect that it is the number 6801 which seems to have a certain magic. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=22703&edit=1
