Well tried both the PHP-4.x CVS release and PHP-5.0.5 and the error
persists. It seems that it would be a simple fix, a lot faster than
fucking around on this board every other day trying to come up with
excuses why it doesn't compile when the error says it all.

Same error as when previous releases. Is there some patch to fix this
error? How fucking hard is it to supply an 'argument'?

from 'man getpgrp':
This version of getpgrp() differs from past Berkeley versions by not
taking a pid_t pid argument. This incompatibility is required by
ISO/IEC 9945-1:1990 ``POSIX.1'').
So this is not a PHP bug per-se. But we could check the function proto
(0 or 1 parameter) in the configure script and pass the paramer if
needed.
