Please provide more information on the steps required to replicate and software versions used (apache, autoconf, ld, gcc and others). This is on a x86 linux distribution with x86 libraries of everything. When I run the configure script like so: ./configure --prefix=/www/php --with-apxs2=/www/bin/apxs --with-config-filepath=/www/php --enable-sockets --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-zlibdir=/usr/include with-gd The configure script works fine. The make script runs fine as well. In php-5.2.0 please run `ls -la .libs/` and paste the output here. /www/bin/apxs - where does this file come from? Is it from a package or was it self-compiled?
