Re: [PHP-CVS] cvs: php-src(PHP_5_2) /ext/gd config.w32 gd.c php_gd.h
I've talked the patch over with Pierre and it would appear some testing on this code was already done without any issues being raised. So, for now thew new GD functions will stay, but if during testing any issues are identified with them, then they will be ifdefed out from the code and will wait until the next release. I don't think we should *then* add more functions as with this we need to keep releasing new RCs. Fine with me. Though personally I hope we create 5.3 from 5.2.2 and avoid this kind of discussion. Another option is to re-release RC1. Give people early chance to test win64 release? Or make 5.2.2 as mostly security release and leave these new features for 5.2.3. Yes, I know. I only think that there is plenty of other changes in 5_2 that I would never allow (since RC1) and we will have a RC2. What are you referring to (and why does it mean adding new functions in RC is ok) ? I do think that's a good opportunity to push these two little functions in (the final versions are much larger) If there is any problem during the RC2 phase, I can #ifdef 0 them in seconds :) #ifdef 0 works for me. -- Wbr, Antony Dovgal -- PHP CVS Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
