Hello Freaks, i have a strange problem, with PHP 4.2.0, RedHat 7.1, mySQL Server version 3.23.36, PHP internal mySQL Client running on two Servers with exactly the same Settings and Compilations.
Now i have a DB User with rights on host "localhost" on one server i can connect normall, the second says no connection possible, if i change the db-permissions on the 2nd server to "localhost.localdomain" all works fine. CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN WHATS GOING ON HERE ?!?! where is it possible to change the hostsname handling ???
