[PHP] Arrat question

Hello,

Suppose i've got the following array

$a = array(
 color = red,
 taste = sweet,
 shape = round,
 name  = apple,
 3   = 4
);

Now I would like to remove the color field and  value. Whats the best
way to do this?

use
 $rgTemp = split('[|]',$szTag);

instead of
 $rgTemp = split(|,$szTag);

on line 2

[PHP] mysql table speed

[Bas Jochems]

i've got a mysql table with about 150.000 record.
i'm getting data out of this table to generate statistic overviews

it seems that this is a problem, cause it takes a long time to generate
these overviews

q:   how can i speed up this table cause 150.000 records is not that
much i suppose?
