I tried to do this:
error_reporting = E_COMPILE_ERROR|E_ERROR|E_CORE_ERROR
and this:
error_reporting = E_ERROR
and the php still display notices :(

display_errors = On
You might want to play around with E_STRICT if you're running PHP 5 though.
