First read it, then split and then write it.
$fp=fopen($file,r);
$content=fread($fp,filesize($file));
fclose($file);
$parts=explode($splitsign,$content);
$fp=fopen($file,w);
fwrite($fp,$parts[0].$insert.$splitsign.$parts[1]);
fclose($file);
