It always seemed to hiccup and act slow randomly which just got on my nerves. I still have the choice between Thunderbird (IMAP) or Webmail (Gmail), and I still have a complete archive of all my mail since 1996. I use Opera and I can have my own brewed JS run when I load a page. This allows me to do special filtering/post markup/event handling for common sites I visit.
