Re: [PHP-DOC] cvs: phpdoc /de/chapters intro.xml

2002-03-07 Thread Friedhelm Betz

Hi Thomas,

 Hi Friehelm, Egon,

I don't agree to rely on historical structures, especially in
this case, where the old translation doesn't seem to be equal
to the current one (the old info.xml where the history was only
a part of had 6kB, appendices/history.xml curr. has 13 kB, so
IMHO it's better to leave the English - and complete - Version
 for the moment).

no prob for me I am not the one to decide:-). My suggestion was only
intended to make Egon happy:-) But maybe Egon has no problem, too.

So long
 Friedhelm

IMHO the documentation should be nuked everywhere. Only the note to mcal
should remain. What do you think?
Or what about a no longer supported appendix where such files should
move to?

Hi,

Thanx - I found a lib someone made (with an easy-to-fiddle-with Makefile
:-) ) ... kinda got me up and running with the *.so stuff.

(it was the 'ming' lib - for SWF generation)

thanx

 Could anyone help me?

Hi,

You don't have to rebuild Apache or PHP to load dynamically built
modules (that's the whole point with them).

That's an error in the documentation.

The optional second parameter doesn't set the compression level, it
does set the compression mode, i.e. you can use FORCE_GZIP or
FORCE_DEFLATE in order to use gzip/deflate compression. The compression

For passing information from serveur to client, the size of data is

Z_DEFAULT_COMPRESSION is a constant of the zlib include file, so you
could change it only with a recompile of php.

As a workaround maybe you can use gzdeflate() or gzcompress(), there
the second parameter is the compression level. But then you have to
manually add the gzip headers (and maybe the CRC) if you need them.

[PHP-DOC] Bug #15936: mistakes in oracle 8 ocifetchinto funtion documentation

From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Operating system: Windows 2000
PHP version: 4.0.6
PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem
Bug description: mistakes in oracle 8 ocifetchinto funtion documentation

Please notice that in the french chm php manual, the documentation
of the optional parameter of oracle 8 fonction ocifetchinto is erroneous:
constants name should be all characters in uppercase (OCI_ASSOC instead
of
oci_ASSOC etc...).

I have checked other functions documentation and it's the same on
ociexecute with oci_COMMIT_ON_SUCCESS instead of OCI_COMMIT_ON_SUCCESS

So I suppose this might be a mistake in all the oracle 8 (OCI) xml file
wich you use to generate chm help files

sorry for my bad english
best regards

Benjamin Leblanc

PS : Sample of oracle 8 module documentation - ocifetchinto:
-

L'option mode vous permet de modifier le comportement par défaut de la
fonction. Vous pouvez passer plusieurs modes simplement en les
additionnant
(i.e. oci_ASSOC+oci_RETURN_NULLS).

descripteur.

[PHP-DOC] Bob Myers Sons Building Contractor

2002-03-07 Thread res0fwgu

Good Evening,

I would like to introduce you to us, our company and our services.

I am Bob Myers, I moved with my family (wife Barb, Sons, Russ, Will Daughter
Caitlyn) to Bradenton in May of 2000. Coming from Wisconsin where I worked for a large
Health Care System for twenty four years, the last ten years as an Engineering
Technician and construction manager, with responsabilty's for Maintenance,
Construction and Renovations. While woking with this Organization I helped my son Mike
to establish a construction company, building new homes, framing for other
contractors, installing vinyl siding, soffit fascial, replacement doors windows,
doing renovations and additions. After running this company through five Wisconsin
winters we made the move to Florida.

In June of 2000 I passed my Florida Contractors License exam (License # CB C059719)
and started a new company called:
Florida Home Maintenance Inc.

I am happy to say that my Son Mike, Wife Bobbi and daughter Heather bought a home in
Bradenton and Mike is now working with me once again.

So here we are in beautiful Manatee County working, and enjoying the Florida Life
Style.

Florida Home Maintenance Inc. is enjoying rapid growth thanks to many loyal friends
custormers.
We will continue the many services we now provide for both our Commercial
Residential customers along with the many Realtors, Condominium associations, and
Property Managers:

Property Maintenance
Move-In, Move Out services
Property Closing, Repairs
Painting (inside out)
Siding, Soffet Fasica
Power Washing
Renovations
Decks (new repairs)

We are now adding a new division to Florida Home Maintenance Inc,:

Bob Myers Sons Building Contractor:

We are now able to offer Framing or any part of complete new home construction.

We are also excited to have an old friend Steve, join our company, moving from
Wisconsin, last week, where he ran his own home improvement company for many years.

If we can help you in any way please call our office at 941-761-7388 or send an e-mail
