The last was needed by XSL sheets, so this change almost enables
us to use XSL sheets without any further magic, after running
configure (the only problem left is the relative path values for
XSL sheets, but that will be solved with the XSL sheets in the
repository).

Hi! The question is again, can we rely on PHP 4 installed on a guys computer working with phpdoc? Because it would be much easier for many things to code in PHP, instead of some shell script... Especially I have problems with file paths and XSLT sheets, and to make the build system work perfectly with an XSLT processor, I need to tweak things more and it would be much easier to do the tweaks in PHP, than in some shell scripts... I don't know, how relative paths worked so far, while there were two
basedirs (the dsssl dir and the $srcdir) for dsssl sheet includes.
Just to make things consistent, I have "corrected" the dsssl sheets
path to be relative to the dsssl dir and not to $srcdir. As I have tested
it works OK, but we'll see, how it works...
Odd old manual XSL stylesheet option removed (I added it some time ago,
but it was just a bad workaround)
Some more old DSL checks removed, and added notes to some parts
