OK! So let us do the translation work at first, and may the style sheet problem can be solved at some time before the translation work done. A well designed CSS can make the translated phpdoc much more readable, and make the text in the manual easier to read. If you feel that there are errors in them, you need to send in your modification request to Norman Walsh, or better to the DSSSL / XSL style sheet mailing list. As I have said earlier, this needs a bit more digging for me, as it needs some conditionals to be put into the rendering sheets. It's even harder with the online manual, where there is a central CSS and as Japaneese translators already pointed out, it has problems with specifying one font for the whole site for all translations too. Well, in the HTML files of PHPDOC except HOWTO I made, those snippets are exactly displayed in Chinese, but some of them are not accurate and if I can make any changes on them? And another question, can the build system add a line in those HTML files to link a external CSS style sheet so that we can control the styles in the HTML files, as Chinese Gramma needs 2ex indent for each paragraph and the default font of main text are to be set to 'Times New Roman'. > > What langauge those snippets are is defined by the LANG variable. [PHP-DOC] Where to modify the snippets?
Hi, When I tried to make the HTML files for the translated HOWTO, I noticed that those snippets such as Home, Prev, Next, copyright, Table of Contents, Warning, Note, Example, etc, are still in English. Where should I modify them? And meanwhile, when I tried to 'make html', I found that those snippets mentioned above are displayed in Chinese, but I don't find where are this information stored and I don't know where to modify them to make them more accurate, either.
