However, it sounds like your camera has a leak. Put a piece of paper in it, take the camera out into the sun, bring it back in (without exposing the paper) and develop the paper. Kodak film may be a bit hard to find in Japan, of course ...-(:) but Portra VC 400 is on every photostore shelf. I just happen to like better the way it reacts to long exposures than Fuji film. I also find I can handle it better in the darkroom than Fuji.
