RE: [pinhole-discussion] vivitar instant slide printer
= Original Message From bendur...@aol.com = Hello Does anyone know where a vivitar instant slide printer could be obtained in the uk. I want to make polaroid transfers and I have heard this is the best thing to use. cheers Ben Ben, If you have access to an enlarger and a Polaroid back then you would have the best thing for transfers. You can enlarge slides with your enlarge onto the back to any size. Use the filter wheels to fine tune the color balance or use slip in filters if all you have is a BW enlarger. You will need to use an 80A filter to balance the tungsten light of your enlarger to the daylight of the Polaroid (do they make a tungsten Polaroid?). I made a prop out of wood to hold my back flat while under the enlarger. I slip in a piece of white paper to focus on. Hope this helps.
