Hi,
116 film was 21/2" wide.  120 is 21/4" wide.  You would have to make some sort 
of spacer to fit the shorter 120 spool in the camera.  You would also need to 
figure out the frame spacing.  You could do that from old 116 paper backing and 
compare it to old 120 backing.

116 has been out of production for a number of years. It was bigger than
120...pity, it was a neat format. You could probably reroll an old 116 roll
with 120 but probably is more difficult than useful. You might be able to
make up an adapter for the ends...

be great to convert to pinhole, but it seems to take
size 116 film. The spool looks about the same size as
120, though. Does anyone know if 120 would work in a
