Re: [pinhole-discussion] Back again...
Leezy, Actually, you don't use lith film but lith developer in the printing stage. With certain types of fiber-based papers (Chlorobromide silver emulsions) processed in highly diluted lith devloper (e.g. Kodalith A+B), you can get some fairly spectacular color effects similar to split-toning. This is how I got the tones in my images on my exhibition at Pinhole Visions. Contact me if you want additional information. Hola Erich, Welcome back to the list. You look terrific with your 8x10 against the skies of Ibiza. You must have picked the only spot on the island where there weren't any tourists or partying... How did you manage that? Did you add your new work on your site or is it still in the works? Can't wait to see what you done during the summer. Cheers, Guy Erich C. So far my only pinhole work was done with a Toyo Field 4x5 and (what a pain in the bones) a Toyo Field 8x10. Next is testing a smaller format for convenience's sake ;-) - there are places out in the fields where an 8x10 is just not the right camera. 120 rollfilm in 6x9 seems to be an appropriate medium. I'm addicted now to that loveley Balearic island, but stay away from it during July August. It'S too crowded with mad party folks and the heat is well above the 100's.
