[pinhole-discussion] Zero 2000 camera problem
Could anyone tell me how to stop getting the lens cover in the image. Even using short exposures of 1 or 2 seconds with Verichrome 125 film I get about half of the 12 images on a roll with part of the lens cover in the photo. Wondering if people who have the cable release installed have the same problem. Help! Thanks for help on this. Here is a Zero2000 image I took last summer. No problem with shutter, as the shutter was basically my thumb (!) (pardon the long URL...) http://www.???/discussion/upload/gallery2001.php?cmd=max&start=&pic=jeff_dilcher__coke_.jpg I think I took this in Cartersville, GA. on one of my rambles, but I can't remember... -Jeff

Joe Besse >> I had a similar problem when I first started working with my Zero 2000 Deluxe (which has the cable release mechanism installed ) I initially opened the shutter manually, and randomly found I had portion of the shutter exposed on the neg. I then started using the cable release mechanism with a locking cable release, and never had had a problem since, Good Luck.
