Yes, saw it in Chicago. You're right. It is an outstanding show.

Re: [pinhole-discussion] Very large format...

2002-05-27 Thread Patrick Barrett

I hesitate to push this further off topic but...

Speaking of very large format, did anyone get a chance to see the exhibit
(first in New York and then elsewhere) of the life-sized Polaroid prints of
many of the survivors of the World Trade Center attacks?

Quite an exhibit and quite a camera used.

And he got the #@$% thing for $100.?? - I'd trade either of my cars for
this big boy.
Anybody who thinks they are into large format should go look at this pic.

the monster that was used to make some railroad mural shots long ago.

 Hi all,

I picked this up from Clive Russell on the Large Format list.
 http://www.f32.net/Services/Equipment/Cameras/hunter-penrose.html

What an incredible piece of equipment!
Of course, I'll need to wash my mouse with soap for referencing lens
equipment on this list, but I thought that with a bit of imagination we
could imagine replacing the lens with a 1.778mm pinhole at f/1012 and do
 some interesting work...

Keep on pinholin' as Tom would say,

 Guy
