Check out Columbia College gallery, am not sure it is still the same name ,
it was called that when I lived in Chicago a few yrs back, the gallery is
easy to get to, is/was on South Michigan Ave, not terrbly far from the Art
Institute of Chicago (walking distance) . There also might be some photo
galleries in the SuHu (Superior-Huron) district which is where a lot of the
commercial photographers have their studios, and processing labs,rental
darkrooms, etc... Chicago puts out a weekend paper listing like most large
cities do, and it is usually available by a Thursday , the paper is easily
found ,also a good source is the Chicago Tribune.newspaper.Many cities have a
gallery "crawl "on the first weekend of every month , dunno if Chicago has
something like this or not
