I was not aware of this new upstream version. I'll try to fix the watch file and upload the new version soon. Well, the only thing I know for sure is that 3.8.1 works, since this is what Fedora uses. I just made sure that the version that is in the Eclipse Orbit project [1] which is consumed by the Eclipse SDK is the one we have in our icu4j package. I found the tag in the icu4j repository that corresponds to the build used by Orbit. We have an icu4j-eclipse sub-package that contains the OSGi-ified JAR and the Eclipse feature. HTH, Andrew [1] The Orbit project is the project that provides OSGi-ified JARs (bundles) of 3rd party projects for use in Eclipse projects. http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/org.eclipse.orbit/?root=Tools_Project ___ pkg-java-maintainers mailing list pkg-java-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-java-maintainers

Well, the only thing I know for sure is that 3.8.1 works, since this is what Fedora uses. 4.0.0 might work, or it might not, but to find out we 'd need an eclipse package that uses icu4j which we currently don't have. (Or someone more familiar with icu4j and it's API could enlighten us) Perhaps this is a perfect question for the Linux Distros project. I have to admit that I personally feel neither competent nor can I spend some extra time to subscribe this list - but I hope anybody could link to this project were I surely expect an answer to this question.
