[Pkg-javascript-devel] RFS: node-bn.js -- big numbers in pure javascript

2017-02-08 Thread Siddhesh Rane
node-bn.js is a node module I have packaged. It is a dependency for browserify.
It is lintian clean and dependencies verified with pbuilder. I have
also run dpkg -i

Code uploaded to alioth (git://anonscm.debian.org/pkg-javascript/node-bn.js.git)
ITP bug #854570 (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=854570)

I request sponsorship for this package
Regards
Siddhesh Rane

There is a test.js present in upstream repo,
https://github.com/wayfind/is-utf8 download the test.js file and
see if the tests pass (run 'nodejs test.js').

Ideally, we should wait for node-irregular-plurals to be accepted
and run tests of node-plur. But since node-plur tests need ava,
we can't run the tests, so I've uploaded node-plur.

This is just how the build ends, not necessarily the relevant part.

I've put several build logs here:

https://people.debian.org/~sanvila/build-logs/uglifyjs/

If this is really a bug in one of the build-depends, please use reassign and
affects,
so that this is still visible in the page for this package.

I can reproduce this in a lot of different computers, all being "slow",
but there is not a policy anywhere saying that autobuilders must be fast,
so I'm not treating this one as a FTBFS-randomly bug.

Thanks.

Uploaded. In future please add "This library is a dependency for
browserify" to description in ITP and in control. Also you should
remove "New upstream release" line from changelog. Please do this
for all other RFS too.
