We had some discussion on the mailinglist about if or not kile's own syntax files (latex.xml and bibtex.xml) should be used instead of the ones in kdelibs (see http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=9874362forum_id=34317) Because the syntax files of kile are usually newer and also work for every KDE between 3.2.x and 3.5.x, we concluded that it would be best if they got installed and not removed as it is now. The syntax files in kdelibs are also maintained by us, but because of our own release cylces we are not able to keep both versions the same. Please think about this suggestion. Thanks Thomas Braun The Kile dev team -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-k7 Locale: lang=de...@euro, lc_ctype=de...@euro (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages kile depends on: ii kdelibs4 4:3.3.2-6.4KDE core libraries ii konsole 4:3.3.2-1sarge1KDE X terminal emulator ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.17-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfam0c102 2.7.0-6sarge1 client library to control the FAM ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-13 GCC support library ii libice6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-3bpo1 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libidn11 0.5.13-1.0 GNU libidn library, implementation ii libjpeg62 6b-10 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libpcre3 4.5-1.2sarge1 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi ii libpng12-01.2.8rel-1 PNG library - runtime ii libqt3c102-mt 3:3.3.4-3 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsm66.9.0.dfsg.1-3bpo1 X Window System Session Management ii libstdc++51:3.3.5-13 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-3bpo1 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.9.0.dfsg.1-3bpo1 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxrender1 1:0.9.0.2-0bpo1X Rendering Extension client libra ii tetex-bin 3.0-14bpo1 The teTeX binary files ii xlibs 6.9.0.dfsg.1-3bpo1 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g1:1.2.2-4.sarge.2 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information ---End Message--- ---BeginMessage--- Version: 1:2.1.0~svn963524-1 ---End Message--- ___ pkg-kde-extras mailing list pkg-kde-extras@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-extras
