[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#797715: Removed package(s) from unstable
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following package(s) have been removed from unstable: bespin | 0.r1552+nmu1 | source kde-style-bespin | 0.r1552+nmu1 | amd64, arm64, armel, armhf, hurd-i386, i386, kfreebsd-amd64, kfreebsd-i386, mips, mipsel, powerpc, ppc64el, s390x kdm-theme-aperture | 0.r1552+nmu1 | all kdm-theme-bespin | 0.r1552+nmu1 | all kdm-theme-tibanna | 0.r1552+nmu1 | all ksplash-theme-aperture | 0.r1552+nmu1 | all ksplash-theme-bespin | 0.r1552+nmu1 | all ksplash-theme-tibanna | 0.r1552+nmu1 | all --- Reason --- ROM; incompatible with Plasma 5 -- Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug. The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next dinstall run at the earliest. Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is really needed, please contact them if this should be the case. We try to close bugs which have been reported against this package automatically. But please check all old bugs, if they were closed correctly or should have been re-assigned to another package. Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you have further comments please address them to 797...@bugs.debian.org. GStreamer 0.10 is no longer maintained and supported by the upstream project since almost 3 years, and contains many known bugs that are fixed in the new 1.x release series of GStreamer. Next to many bug fixes, the new release series also contains many other improvements, new features and a more streamlined API. For the next Debian release GStreamer 0.10 is planned to be removed, and if your package is not updated it might not be included in the release. FYI: The status of the bespin source package in Debian's testing distribution has changed. [Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#797119: exiv2: loses timezone information in XMP dates
As indicated in the upstream bug report, exiv2 has had for many years a conversion function mapping exif tags and xmp properties. In exiv2 0.25, these mappings were updated to MWG standards. MWG guidelines specify that Xmp.xmp.CreateDate be mapped to Exif.Photo.DateTimeDigitized which cannot hold timezone data. Previous versions of exiv2 mapped to Xmp.exif.DateTimeDigitized so the issue did not get triggered for the test case. A workaround might involve changing the test case to not use Xmp.xmp.CreateDate. I have an associated issue in exiv2 to make these conversions more complete and robust. I could use some help with that issue. http://dev.exiv2.org/issues/1050 ___ pkg-kde-extras mailing list pkg-kde-extras@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-extras
