It can hold any number of arpeggiator, sequencer, or LFO modules running in parallel. . Arpeggiator modules produce sequences depending on the notes sent to their input port, which is typically connected to a keyboard or another sequencer. . Step sequencer modules allow to create simple linear, monophonic and globally transposable sequences similar to the first analog sequencers. . MIDI LFO modules independently produce MIDI controller data of adjustable waveform, time resolution, amplitude and duration. . For each module, an input note filter is available, and the output port and channel can be set independently. Since the modules use a common sequencer queue, they are automatically in sync with each other. QMidiArp works with an internal tick resolution of 192 ticks per beat. The queue can be synchronized to an incoming MIDI realtime clock or as a JACK transport client. Most of the relevant control elements are accessible via MIDI controller through a MIDI-learn infrastructure. QMidiArp also has a log tool displaying the history of incoming MIDI events in colors depending on their type. Now, could you please try the following? This will be a bit more annoying, unfortunately. Build the source package corresponding to tag debian/5.12.1.dfsg-5, installing it and trying again (this is to check if the problem was some buildd temporary issue). Then try the latest git HEAD. I think I fixed this bug in commit 018514f, but I'm not sure. OK, natty, which has 5.13 exhibits this problem too. Can the ubuntu build logs be obtained from somewhere? sure. go to: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/csound select the version of the package you are interested in, expand text by clicking on the triangle left next to the package symbol, then click on the architecture name below the changelog and diff for the upload. This will give you the link to the buildjob, where you'll find the link to the buildlog. OK, the problem seems to be -as-needed. Compiling with -no-as-needed results in a correct binary (only in Ubuntu, Debian binaries are OK even with -as-needed). Why does this fail in Ubuntu but not in Debian? When I downgraded mplayer all files played nicely. I've run gdb and the output is below. What was the version number that worked for you? And did you also upgrade the libavcodec52? I am not really sure about the highest version number that worked for me (I guess the last one that was on testing before 2:1.0~rc4.dfsg1-1) I've reinstalled the squeeze version 2:1.0~rc3++final.dfsg1-1 and it works just fine. well, that's the version from stable. Not exactly what I would want to use on a post-squeeze system. What processor do you have? Does it support altivec? Is this actually a duplicate report of #410962 gunther@azul:~$ cat /proc/cpuinfo processor : 0 cpu : 740/750 temperature : 47-49 C (uncalibrated) clock : 333.30MHz revision : 2.2 (pvr 0008 0202) bogomips : 33.32 timebase : 16664200 platform : PowerMac model : iMac,1 machine : iMac,1 motherboard : iMac MacRISC Power Macintosh detected as : 79 (Unknown Paddington-based) pmac flags: L2 cache : 512K unified pmac-generation : NewWorld Memory: 384 MB --- no, it does not support altivec. Thanks for confirming my suspicion. --- I *guess* this is not a duplicate of #410926 where mplayer complained about a different subject: MPlayer interrupted by signal 4 in module: init_video_codec No, the cause is the same. The debian mplayer binary has altivec instructions compiled in, and therefore, won't work on any powerpc system without altivec. At all! In order to not loose this report, I'm marking it as duplicate. Thanks for reporting anyway! This is my the output of _mplayer -v /tmp/teste.mpg_ and in my case it doesn't get to the part where mplayer tries to open codecs. (I can listen to audio tracks in all files via the -novideo option) mplayer: Symbol `ff_codec_wav_tags' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking mplayer: Symbol `ff_codec_bmp_tags' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking This is expected when using mplayer rc3 with FFmpeg 0.6.
