Hi Alessio,

I'm finally out of school for the summer, so I'll probably do this soon.
The actual work is very small.

I started blender, and tried to move a 3d object in a object mode by
pressing 'G' and blender didn't recognize it.
And this repeats when i press any letter (only alphabetic keys).
I've tried to change my layout from English to Ukrainian and in reverse,
but no result came up.
Restarting blender/user/computer also gave no result.
Similar problem i had in blender 2.49, and blender 2.61 downloaded from
blender.org
I work on laptop, maybe that matters...

I also attach a blender terminal output (blenderTerminal.txt) and
system-info.

Description : Synfig extended template library

ETL is a multi-platform class and template library designed to add new
datatypes and functions which combine well with the existing types and
functions from the C++ Standard Template Library (STL). It is developed and
used by the Synfig Studio development team.

etl already was in Debian, but was removed together with synfig from the
package archives (bug #612070). Dmitry Smirnov onlyjob at fsf member org has
recently updated the etl, synfig and synfigstudio packages to the latest
upstream and standards versions, and he and I would be willing to maintain the
package in the future. Upstream is active (the latest upstream version was
released in February 2012). The GCC 4.5 FTBFS mentioned in the mentioned bug
report is fixed. Both of us tested the packages on Debian unstable and have not
found any problems yet.

Package: ardour
Version: 1:2.8.12-1
Severity: important
Tags: sid wheezy
User: debian-...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: ftbfs-gcc-4.7

The package fails to build in a test rebuild on at least amd64 with
gcc-4.7/g++-4.7, but succeeds to build with gcc-4.6/g++-4.6. The
severity of this report may be raised before the wheezy release.

libs/pbd/path.cc:63:40: error: 'R_OK' was not declared in this scope

The full build log can be found at:
http://people.debian.org/~lucas/logs/2012/03/29-clang-gcc47/unstable-gcc47/ardour_1:2.8.12-1_unstable-gcc47.log
The last lines of the build log are at the end of this report.

Some hints on fixing these issues can be found at
http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-4.7/porting_to.html

To build with GCC 4.7, either set CC=gcc-4.7 CXX=g++-4.7 explicitly,
or install the gcc, g++, gfortran, ... packages from experimental.

  Programming Lang: C++
  Description : vector-based 2d animation package

synfig is a vector based 2D animation package. It is designed to be
capable of producing feature-film quality animation. It eliminates the
need for tweening, preventing the need to hand-draw each frame. synfig
features spatial and temporal resolution independence (sharp and smooth
at any resolution or framerate), high dynamic range images, and a
flexible plugin system.

This package contains the renderer used to convert synfig .sif files to
raster images, videos and other formats. Layer types include geometric,
gradient, filter, distortion, transformation, fractal and others. Output
targets include JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, PPM, DV, OpenEXR, ffmpeg (MPEG1),
libavcodec (AVI), imagemagick (MIFF), yuv420p, MNG and others.

**

synfig already was in Debian, but was removed from the package archives (bug
#612070). Dmitry Smirnov onlyjob at fsf member org has recently updated the
etl, synfig and synfigstudio packages to the latest upstream and standards
versions, and he and I would be willing to maintain the package in the future.
Upstream is active (the latest upstream version was released in February 2012).
The GCC 4.5 FTBFS mentioned in the mentioned bug report is fixed. Both of us
tested the packages on Debian unstable and have not found any problems yet.

Bug#673284: morituri: support releases with multiple mediums

2012-05-17 Thread Marc Dequènes (Duck)

Package: morituri
Version: 0.1.2-2

Coin,

Ripping releases with multiple medium is broken, see:
  http://thomas.apestaart.org/morituri/trac/ticket/67

As this is not a rare situation and the main goal of this program, i
do not consider this a wish but a bug (thus the severity).

Unfortunately, the next version is probably not coming soon. This bug
was closed 4 months ago, not so much activity recently, and there is
still much to do:

  http://thomas.apestaart.org/morituri/trac/query?group=statusmilestone=0.1.3

Moreover, there is no way to properly solve the situation using
python-musicbrainz2 because the new MusicBrainZ's API is necessary to
compute which tracks are in the selected medium.

I made a patch to work around this problem. For the first and last
medium the track offset can be guessed, and in all other cases the
user is asked to manually enter the track offset. I'm not a Python
developper, so my patch is probably not the most beautiful ever, but
it seems to work nicely.

I think applying this patch would be nice for Wheezy, because the next
version will clearly not be ready for it. When the next version is
released, this patch would be obsolete and you'd just have to remove
it, so there should be no maintenance work.

Regards.

Bug#673285: morituri: let user choose the right release

2012-05-17 Thread Marc Dequènes (Duck)

Package: morituri
Version: 0.1.2-2
Tags: patch

Coin,

Using the same rational as #673284, i think morituri arbitrarily
choosing a release when the medium appears in multiple releases, is a
bug. It leads to unwanted artist/album/tracks names when ripping, and
maybe other consequences.

I made a patch asking the user which release is the right one. Someone
may later add a command line option to avoid interactivity, but at
least it makes this program useful again.

Regards.

Bug#673325: vlc: unreadable black text on dark blue background

2012-05-17 Thread Vincent Lefevre
Package: vlc
Version: 2.0.1-4+b2
Severity: important

When selected, text of the main VLC window is unreadable as it is black
on a dark blue background. This makes VLC a bit uneasy to use.

The menus don't have this problem: the background is the same, but the
text appears in white (instead of black).

Bug#673326: vlc: playlist information is incorrect when going up a tree level

2012-05-17 Thread Vincent Lefevre
Package: vlc
Version: 2.0.1-4+b2
Severity: normal

Playlist information, displayed just below the menu, is incorrect in
some cases. For instance, concerning a playlist tree of the following
form:

index.xspf
  * file1.xspf
  * file2.xspf
  * file.ogg

when file.ogg is reached after file2.xspf has entirely been played,
VLC still displays:

  Playlist → index.xspf → file2_title

while one is no longer in file2.xspf. It should have displayed:

  Playlist → index.xspf

Bug#673333: vlc: logic for window position is broken: window is sometimes partly off-screen

2012-05-17 Thread Vincent Lefevre
Package: vlc
Version: 2.0.1-4+b2
Severity: normal

VLC's logic for the window position is broken, leading to a window that
is sometimes partly off-screen. Here's a way to reproduce the problem:

1. Make sure you have a long playlist open.
2. Make sure View → Docked Playlist is ticked.
3. Show the playlist (if not already done).
4. Maximize the window height.
5. No longer show the playlist (Ctrl-L).
6. Reduce the window height.
7. Show the playlist (Ctrl-L).

→ The window height is automatically increased and the window can be
partly off-screen. (A)

8. No longer show the playlist (Ctrl-L).
9. Move the window upward or downward.
10. Show the playlist (Ctrl-L).

→ The window height is automatically increased and the window can be
partly off-screen. (B)

Compared to (A), the window position has changed in the same way the
reduced window has changed in (9).

Bug#673338: vlc: Ogg duration is shown in the playlist only when the file is being played

2012-05-17 Thread Vincent Lefevre
Package: vlc
Version: 2.0.1-4+b2
Severity: minor

For ogg files, the duration is shown in the playlist only when the file
is being played; it disappears as soon as another file is played. MP3
files do not have this problem.

There was no such problem with VLC 1.x.

Adding a build dependency to libssl-dev solves the FTBFS but
libmysqlclient-dev should probably be the one depending on libssl-dev.

It should probably just be omitting all that stuff from its library
configuration and relying on transitive library dependencies.

Yes, mysql_config should definitely omit most everything except for
-lmysqlclient. There was a long mail about this a while ago... Ah,
here it is:

Bug#664700: libva1: please search dri module in /usr/lib/{triplet/, }dri

2012-05-17 Thread shawn
Package: vainfo
Version: 1.0.15-4
Followup-For: Bug #664700

I came across the same problem, The first multiarch patch for this
package let libva search in the right place

here is a patch to restore that functionality (but not search in the
non-multiarch paths as well)

in the source look for LIBVA_DRIVERS_PATH

Subject: [PATCH] fix vainfo for multiarch

commit 2298fb2d8926984cab6195284459a56601987c62
[Use dh_auto_configure to pass in default+extra configure options.]
broke vainfo's ability to find the xvba driver, we need the default internal
LIBVA_DRIVER_PATH, which gets set by $libdir, to be multiarch

Yes, but the key is the directory existence test before doing the
autoloads etc. If removed but not purged then the package-dir doesn't
exist.
