Package: liblrdf0 Version: 0.4.0-5 Severity: important File: ladspa I'm not sure if this is the right package to file this bug to, or even if there is one. At least I'm talking to the Debian Multimedia Maintainers this way. I wanted to file the debian equivalent of this bug: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/4577 but debian doesn't have a package called ladspa (yet?). I've just compiled radium, and it can't find my plugins, but I'm not sure if that's a bug in radium (should have searched the default paths) or in debian (should have set LADSPA_PATH). Bug#721861: RFP: radium -- a music editor with a new and better interface
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: radium Version : 1.9.30 Upstream Author : k.s.matheus...@notam02.no * URL : https://github.com/kmatheussen/radium * License : GPLv2 Programming Lang: C, C++, Python and Faust Description : a music editor with a new and better interface Radium is a music editor with a new and better interface. The advantages of this interface compared to piano rolls (the normal sequencer interface), are that note editing is quicker, and that more musical data fits on the screen. The advantage of this interface compared to trackers, is that note positions and effects are edited graphically, which is both quicker, provides more vertical space, and gives a better musically overview. However, despite it's unusual appearance, it's a design goal for Radium to be straight forward to use, and easy to learn. It should not be harder to learn Radium than any tracker or most midi sequencers. It has just been integrated with pd, inspired by Max for Live. ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
Bug#721827: ladspa: LADSPA_PATH not set
Control: reassign -1 ladspa-sdk Hi Bart, On Wed, Sep 4, 2013 at 8:27 AM, bart b...@magnetophon.nl wrote: Package: liblrdf0 Version: 0.4.0-5 Severity: important File: ladspa I'm not sure if this is the right package to file this bug to, or even if there is one. At least I'm talking to the Debian Multimedia Maintainers this way. I wanted to file the debian equivalent of this bug: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/4577 but debian doesn't have a package called ladspa (yet?). As far as I can tell, there is no need for such a package. LADSPA is just a spec plus a header file denoting the spec. All the work is done by hosts and plugins. So the ladspa-sdk package is all we have I've just compiled radium, and it can't find my plugins, but I'm not sure if that's a bug in radium (should have searched the default paths) or in debian (should have set LADSPA_PATH). Sure I could set it myself, but I want to improve debian if possible. I'm not sure if it is reasonable for a package to define environment variables (is it even possible given the multiplicity of shells and desktop environments?). Possibly radium could default to /usr/lib/ladspa if LADSPA_PATH is not set. -- Saludos, Felipe Sateler ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
