Bug#811831: projectm: FTBFS with GCC 6: no match for

2016-01-19 Thread Martin Michlmayr
Package: projectm
Version: 2.1.0+dfsg-3
Severity: important
User: debian-...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: ftbfs-gcc-6 gcc-6-no-match

This package fails to build with GCC 6. GCC 6 has not been released
yet, but it's expected that GCC 6 will become the default compiler for
stretch.

Note that only the first error is reported; there might be more. You
can find a snapshot of GCC 6 in experimental. To build with GCC 6,
you can set CC=gcc-6 CXX=g++-6 explicitly.

I'm not sure what this tool refers to.

Bug#790635: Please support ARM64

2015-08-27 Thread Martin Michlmayr
* Bálint Réczey bal...@balintreczey.hu [2015-08-22 00:11]:
I have enabled all arches in configure, but the build still fails at a
 later stage:
 https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=kodiarch=arm64ver=15.1%2Bdfsg1-2stamp=1440178114
 ...
 CC xbmc/cores/DllLoader/ldt_keeper.o
ldt_keeper.c:37:21: fatal error: asm/ldt.h: No such file or directory
 compilation terminated.
 make[2]: *** [ldt_keeper.o] Error 1
make[2]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs

I'll investigate that later, but feel free to do a test build if you
have acces to a system of this architecture. It would also be
interesting to know if the built Kodi runs fine and I can't check that
lacking the machine for testing Kodi with a real screen.

I just noticed that Edmund Grimley Evans submitted a pach in #796532.
