Bug#678151: ardour: segfaults on inserting an lv2 plugin
Subject: ardour: segfaults on inserting an lv2 plugin Package: ardour Version: 1:2.8.12-2 File: ardour Severity: important Tags: patch Ardour segfaults as soon as you click "insert" in the plugin dialog, with an lv2 plugin selected. My "patch" consists of: apt-get build-dep ardour2 aptitude install liblilv-dev aptitude install libsuil-dev svn co http://subversion.ardour.org/svn/ardour2/branches/2.0-ongoing cd 2.0-ongoing scons SYSLIBS=1 sudo scons install Actually I had to do "scons SYSLIBS=1 LV2=1 LV2_UI=1", but that was probably because I had already tried to build without the proper libs. LV2=1 LV2_UI=1 are the defaults. I also tried building without SYSLIBS, but that didn't compile, because of an issue with glibmm I think. Thanks for all the great packages in debian-multimedia! Bug#678151: also works without SYSLIBS
I had to build again, and tried without any scons arguments. Seems I was wrong about needing SYSLIBS=1. I now seem to have a fully working default compile of "ardour 2.8.13 (built from revision 12772). ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
Bug#721827: ladspa: LADSPA_PATH not set
Package: liblrdf0 Version: 0.4.0-5 Severity: important File: ladspa I'm not sure if this is the right package to file this bug to, or even if there is one. At least I'm talking to the Debian Multimedia Maintainers this way. I wanted to file the debian equivalent of this bug: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/4577 but debian doesn't have a package called ladspa (yet?). I've just compiled radium, and it can't find my plugins, but I'm not sure if that's a bug in radium (should have searched the default paths) or in debian (should have set LADSPA_PATH). Sure I could set it myself, but I want to improve debian if possible. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-rt-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages liblrdf0 depends on: ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libraptor1 1.4.21-7.1 liblrdf0 recommends no packages. Bug#721861: RFP: radium -- a music editor with a new and better interface
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: radium Version : 1.9.30 Upstream Author : k.s.matheus...@notam02.no * URL : https://github.com/kmatheussen/radium * License : GPLv2 Programming Lang: C, C++, Python and Faust Description : a music editor with a new and better interface Radium is a music editor with a new and better interface. The advantages of this interface compared to piano rolls (the normal sequencer interface), are that note editing is quicker, and that more musical data fits on the screen. The advantage of this interface compared to trackers, is that note positions and effects are edited graphically, which is both quicker, provides more vertical space, and gives a better musically overview. However, despite it's unusual appearance, it's a design goal for Radium to be straight forward to use, and easy to learn. It should not be harder to learn Radium than any tracker or most midi sequencers. It has just been integrated with pd, inspired by Max for Live. ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers

FW: RFP: ladspa-nova -- A set of high-resolution ladspa filters
Hello debian multimedia team, Thanks for making debian such a wonderful audio platform. I wanted to draw your attention to my favorite ladspa plugin: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=721843 Please consider including it in debian, for the reasons stated in the bugreport. It even already has a debian package made for it by the author! OK, Ive included the CC again. No, I have never packaged something (except for myself, once). Bug#732107: seq24: please install documentation file SEQ24
Package: seq24 Severity: wishlist The upstream website states on http://www.filter24.org/seq24/doc.html "Currently, the only documentation available is the SEQ24 file that comes with the source tarball.", but this file is not yet installed in the binary package seq24. Bug#732108: seq24: please add support for Azerty keyboard layout
Package: seq24 Severity: wishlist When I start seq24 for the first time and open File, Options, Keyboard, then I see that the initial keyboard shortcuts match a Querty keyboard layout, which makes sense since Querty is so widely used. But some other keyboard layouts are also widely used, for example, Azerty. It would be nice to have seq24 modified so that the initial keyboard shortcuts are set to match Azerty if the current keyboard layout is Azerty, so that the user doesn't need to change all those keyboard shortcuts manually. ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers

Re-enabling AirTunes support in Kodi
Hi, I was wondering why Kodi is being compiled without AirTunes support (--disable-airtunes in debian/rules). AirTunes is required to make Kodi act as an AirPlay target for iOS devices running iOS 9 and later. Kodi also supports a new version of the AirPlay protocol (--enable-airplay), but this version is incompatible with iOS 9 and newer. When the new version (called 'Enable AirPlay "Videos" and “Pictures" support’) is turned off in the Kodi settings panel, Kodi would fall back on the AirTunes server, but since AirTunes is not compiled in, AirPlay stops working altogether [1]. Configure options were changed in commit 16a776738aea0a3b6509efa8e87bceb961730e9c [2], which does not explain the reasoning behind the change. I tried compiling the package myself using the following command: KODI_CONFIG_EXTRA_OPTIONS='--enable-airtunes' dpkg-buildpackage There are no build errors. Since being an AirPlay target for newer Apple devices seems like a valuable feature, would you consider turning AirTunes support back on? — Bart Schuurmans [1]: Leaving the user confused, see http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=289433 [2]: https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-multimedia/kodi.git/commit/?id=16a776738aea0a3b6509efa8e87bceb961730e9c ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
