This could be true, if you have both librasqal versions installed, it might pick the wrong one. That's why we don't see this problem in Debian, the pbuilder is a clean environment. Ardour 2.8.5 Source and librasqal2
Hello, I am assuming the new Ardour 2.8.5 source will be finding it's way into GIT very soon. I was wondering if the new version could be properly linked to the recent librasqal2. On my Debian Testing (AV Linux) system Ardour 2.8.4-3 will not run unless librasqual1 is retained and will not compile to run with librasqal2, apt is seeing librasqal1 as "autoremove" but it is in fact still an Ardour dependency. This is a common recent issue and proper linking to librasqal2 would fix it permanently.
