Package: ladish Version: 1+dfsg0-4 Severity: wishlist Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer, *** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
When I stop and start my studio (with gladish), I would like ladish to restore my window locations. I run alsaplayer, a compressor, two jack_mixer instances (capture and playback volume strips) and calfjackhost, and sometimes an independent windowed audio meter. Each time I reboot, or for some reason restart my ladish session, I have to drag all these windows around to where they "need" to be. Debian's wmctrl package provides the program wmctrl which may be quite convenient, especially eg: wmctrl -d wmctrl -l and corresponding options to move windows around given the right window ID as listed. In the meantime, calfjackhost has provided much organisation of what were 5 windows (with jalv) into just one window (calfjackhost). But I still have 5 or more windows which need placing each time I start my studio. *** End of the template - remove these lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.12-1-rt-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages ladish depends on: ii jackd 5 ii libc6 2.17-97 ii libdbus-1-3 1.7.10-2 ii libexpat1 2.1.0-4 ii libjack-jackd2-0 [libjack-0.116] 1.9.9.5+20130622git7de15e7a-1 ii libuuid1 2.20.1-5.5 ii python 2.7.5-5 ii python-dbus 1.2.0-2+b1 Versions of packages ladish recommends: ii a2jmidid 8~dfsg0-1 Versions of packages ladish suggests: ii gladish 1+dfsg0-4 -- no debconf information _______________________________________________ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
