Hi, Thanks very much for taking time to reply, I'm relieved to see it is still there in the links in good company with the other mentioned projects. BTW the Studio-to-go link no longer has a domain so perhaps should be removed or updated. Also the KXStudio project might be worth mentioning if it fits your criteria, I would assume it uses/shares a lot of upstream code with pkg-multimedia in Debian. Re: Update Wiki FAQ
Hi, Sorry to butt in here, I just re-read the wiki and it used to refer to AV Linux as a 'multimedia' Debian based project. Was it removed intentionally? If so that is your prerogative of course, I will say that I have no ill-will against the team and if there was issues with AV Linux and the Debian multimedia team that necessitated it's removal from the wiki I would hope that you would let me know as a subscriber to the list. My use of Stable as a base is one of many legitimate reasons that I am not a team member certainly not out of unwillingness to co-operate. At any rate the AV Linux project is 'outside' of Debian and not a sanctioned blend so that probably is explanation enough. However the fact it was previously listed has me curious. Keep up the great work. -GLEN > Am Mittwoch, den 04.04.2012, 21:07 -0400 schrieb Andres Mejia: >> Just updated the FAQ in the wiki. Update Wiki FAQ
Just updated the FAQ in the wiki. See http://wiki.debian.org/DebianMultimedia/FAQ These are updates about dmo. In particular, they answer the common questions of "do we coordinate with dmo (no)" "do we support packages from dmo (no)" and "is dmo a part of Debian (no)". Improvements are welcome. -- ~ Andres ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
