Hi to all, this is just a remainder that I am still waiting an answer about shotdetect upload. I include the changelog here: shotdetect (1.0.86-2) unstable; urgency=low * Add a patch to fix FTBFS with libav 0.9. Closes: #694299. * Set Debian Multimedia Maintainers as maintainer. * Add Giulio Paci as uploader. * Add Vcs-Git and Vcs-Browser fields in debian/control. * Fix copyright Format field. * Fix copyright license information for some files. -- Giulio Paci giuliop...@gmail.com Thu, 17 Jan 2013 23:08:25 +0100 Bests, Giulio. ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers

The rest is just noise. I agree. :-) I just noticed that I missed two entries in the changelog (I will add them): 1) it fixes a FTBFS bug in ubuntu 12.04 (thus it also does not affect wheezy); 2) it enables hardening flags. Does this make any difference? In case it does not make any difference, what am I supposed to do about these changes? Should I simply wait wheezy release and then ask again? If you have already read our packaging guidelines [1], just move the repository under the /git/pkg-multimedia/ directory and then fix the permissions properly, I can do the job for you if you agree. I have already read the guidelines. and I have tried to follow them for shotdetect since the beginning. If you can move it, it would be really appreciated, because I do not know the permissions that I have to set (it seems to me that only the ownership should be changed) and if that would be enough. You will update the Maintainer/Uploaders/Vcs-* fields with your next upload. Sure. shotdetect updates
Hi Thorsten, hi all, recently I got a bug report (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=694299) about shotdetect FTBFS with libav 0.9. A patch was attached fixing the issue, so I included it in shotdetect and I pushed my git repository on collab-maint: git://git.debian.org/git/collab-maint/shotdetect.git http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/shotdetect.git Now I have a few questions: 1) Can you upload this package again? 2) Some time ago I joined the pkg-multimedia-maintainers group and I would like to move shotdetect maintainance there. Is this the right moment to do that? What should I do to perform the switch? Thank you for your help, Bests, Giulio. ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
