[DRE-maint] Bug#673375: tdiary-plugin: gfm_style requires redcarpet

2012-05-18 Thread Hideki Yamane
Package: tdiary-plugin
Version: 3.1.3-1
Severity: important

Dear tdiary package Maintainer,

 New tdiary-plugin package has gfm_style.rb which requires redcarpet.
 Without renaming /usr/share/tdiary/tdiary/style/gfm_style.rb file,
 upgrading from previous version causes Internal Server Error as below.

[DRE-maint] ruby-sdl override disparity

2012-05-18 Thread Debian FTP Masters
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

libsdl-ruby1.8_2.1.2-3_all.deb: package says section is oldlibs, override says
ruby.
libsdl-ruby1.8_2.1.2-3_all.deb: package says priority is extra, override says
optional.
libsdl-ruby1.9.1_2.1.2-3_all.deb: package says section is oldlibs, override
says ruby.
libsdl-ruby1.9.1_2.1.2-3_all.deb: package says priority is extra, override says
optional.
libsdl-ruby_2.1.2-3_all.deb: package says section is oldlibs, override says
ruby.
libsdl-ruby_2.1.2-3_all.deb: package says priority is extra, override says
optional.

Please note that a list of new sections were recently added to the
archive: cli-mono, database, debug, fonts, gnu-r, gnustep, haskell,
httpd, java, kernel, lisp, localization, ocaml, php, ruby, vcs, video,
xfce, zope. At this time a script was used to reclassify packages into
these sections. If this is the case, please only reply to this email if
the new section is inappropriate, otherwise please update your package
at the next upload.

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please file a bug against ftp.debian.org and
explain why. Please INCLUDE the list of packages as seen above, or we
won't be able to deal with your request due to missing information.

Please make sure that the subject of the bug you file follows the
following format:

Subject: override: BINARY1:section/priority, [...], BINARYX:section/priority

Include the justification for the change in the body of the mail please.

and have not received a response yet, please ignore this mail. Your bug
needs to be processed by a human and will be in due course, but until

Package: libsdl-ruby

Severity: grave
Tags: sid
Justification: renders package unusable
User: debian...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: piuparts

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package is no longer
installable in sid:

* ruby-sdl breaks libsdl-ruby (<< 2.1.1.1-2~)
* libsdl-ruby depends on ruby-sdl via libsdl-ruby1.8

As libsdl-ruby was renamed to ruby-sdl, but there is no transitional
package for libsdl-ruby, maybe libsdl-ruby should be removed from sid?

Cheers,

Andreas

  * Source packages adapted according to the new Ruby policy:
- Migrated to pkg-ruby-extras git repos. Changed the Vcs-* fields in
  debian/control accordingly.
- Changed the depends and recommends to follow the new Ruby
  library naming scheme.
  * debian/control:
- Added a default DM-Upload-Allowed field set to yes.
- Standards-Version bumped to 3.9.3; no changes required.
- Set XS-Ruby-Versions to all.
- Changed the build-depends for using gem2deb instead of ruby-pkg-tools.
- Switched the maintainer with the uploaders field as per new
  convention the team is the default maintainer.
- Added myself to the uploaders.
- Added libkrb5-ruby, libkrb5-ruby1.8, libkrb5-ruby1.9.1 and
  libkrb5-ruby-doc as transitional packages.
- Added a build-depend on rake for to be able to run the "rdoc" task.
  * debian/copyright: converted to the Debian copyright format version 1.0.
  * debian/ruby-krb5-auth.examples: created from debian/libkrb-ruby*.examples.
  * debian/ruby-krb5-auth.docs: install generated RDoc documentation.
  * debian/rules: generate and clean RDoc documentation using rake.
 .
  [ Cédric Boutillier ]
  * Override lintian warning about duplicate descriptions for transitional
packages.
  * Avoid installing bin/example.rb in /usr/bin/
  * Register documentation with doc-base

Announcing to debian-devel-chan...@lists.debian.org

Your package contains new components which requires manual editing of
the override file. It is ok otherwise, so please be patient. New
packages are usually added to the override file about once a week.

You may have gotten the distribution wrong. You'll get warnings above
if files already exist in other distributions.
