the override file. It is ok otherwise, so please be patient. New
packages are usually added to the override file about once a week.

It looks like you need to sort out which package should own this file.
From what I can see of the contents, it looks like the answer is
probably none of them, as it appears to be a build log which should
not be included in the package.

[DRE-maint] Bug#740679: Removed package(s) from unstable

2014-05-02 Thread Debian FTP Masters
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

libamrita-ruby1.8 | 1.0.2-10 | all
ruby-amrita | 1.0.2-10 | source, all

--- Reason ---
ROM: can't migrate to Ruby 1.9
--

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next
dinstall run at the earliest.

Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is
really needed, please contact them if this should be the case.

We try to close bugs which have been reported against this package
automatically. But please check all old bugs, if they were closed
correctly or should have been re-assigned to another package.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 740...@bugs.debian.org.

The full log for this bug can be viewed at https://bugs.debian.org/740679

Note these are template files, not libraries for the ruby load path.
They're packaged in the wrong dir.

strong_parameters is an upstream for debian.

[DRE-maint] Bug#714777: handling file conflicts with generators being installed in top level directory

2014-05-02 Thread Pirate Praveen
Hi,

I think the upstream should keep it in a sub-directory like temple, but
strong_parameters upstream seems adamant on not changing.

Should this be handled at gem2deb level? Moving to debian-ruby for wider
comments.

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=746677

Or should we handle the exceptions with patches?

Thanks
Praveen

[DRE-maint] Bug#746698: ruby-passenger-doc does not actually contain the documentation

2014-05-02 Thread John Winters
Package: ruby-passenger-doc
Version: 3.0.13debian-1+deb7u2
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

The package ruby-passenger-doc currently in Wheezy does not actually
contain the documentation which it purports to contain. There seems
to have been a problem when building it, and each of the documentation
files simply contains:

Mizuho required to build docs

The corresponding package for Wheezy does seem to contain the documentation.

[DRE-maint] Bug#746680: Removed package(s) from unstable

2014-05-02 Thread Debian FTP Masters
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

ruby-activerecord-3.2 | 3.2.16-1 | source, all

--- Reason ---
ROM; obsolete by rails-3.2

If you
have further comments please address them to 746...@bugs.debian.org.
