I've been experiencing issues in Kubuntu where powerdevil failed to load because of symbol lookup errors, ie. distribution/packaging problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Plasma-devel mailing list Plasma-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/plasma-devel

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364138 m...@raumkraut.net changed: What|Removed |Added CC||m...@raumkraut.net --- Comment #1 from m...@raumkraut.net --- I did my weekly Debian Testing update last night (2016-06-10), and today I also experienced this issue. However, in my case at least, it appears to have been a binary/lib version mismatch. The main powerdevil packages were upgraded to 4:5.6.4-2, however libpowerdevilcore2 was *not* upgraded at the same time, remaining at 4:5.4.3-1. After I'd resolved the minor issues with an `aptitude full-upgrade libpowerdevilcore2`, I was able to start the "Power Management" service as expected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Plasma-devel mailing list Plasma-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/plasma-devel
