I've been using it, so far so good. The only divergence I have in
plasma is the KScreen patch.

Small update. I came up with a patch that /WORKAROUNDS/ the crash, in
case anybody is interested in trying.

State of Plasma with Qt 5.6

Hi,
For reasons [1] I've had to change to Qt 5.6 today. I wanted to make
sure everyone knows what's the status, hence this e-mail.

I've been experiencing a small issue [2] on start, so we can't expect
Plasma 5.4.0 to work with it, probably worth backporting the change so
5.4.1 can use Qt 5.6.

On one of my users with a vanilla configuration it just works (yay),
on the other one I'm getting a crash [3]. I'll follow up on the issue
and report back.
