Just a note that in this case KProtocolInfo::protocolClass() should be used to determine if the URL is local or not, since this also affects trash, nepomuk and so forth. KUrl::isLocalFile()/toLocalFile() should only be used to check if the URL can be accessed without using KIO. Or maybe as I am not very familiar with cmake, what I think is a rebuild from scratch is not actually from scratch? I use kdesvn-build, and I first did a build with --refresh-build, and as the problem persisted I removed the whole build directory and launched the build again. FolderView broken?
Hi, I'm having a problem with folderview for a few days: when plasma first loads, the folderviews just display a spinning animation, no content. If I press the settings button of the black hover handle, the animation is replaced by the contents, but no settings show up. If I press the close button in the black hover handle, the settings dialog appears (and the folderview doesn't close), but plasma crashes when I press ok.
