dbus notifications

2016-01-25 Thread Elan Ruusamäe
anyone know how to capture libnotify events, i.e see their history in
terminal.

the problem i'm having that i need to copy text from notification, the
mate-notify bubble just dissapears if i click it...

$ dbus-monitor "type='signal',interface='org.freedesktop.Notifications'"
dbus-monitor: unable to enable new-style monitoring, your dbus-daemon is
too old. Falling back to eavesdropping.
signal time=1453710482.791960 sender=org.freedesktop.DBus ->
destination=:1.8788 serial=2 path=/org/freedesktop/DBus;
interface=org.freedesktop.DBus; member=NameAcquired

   string ":1.8788"
^C
$ rpm -qf `which dbus-monitor`
dbus-1.10.6-1.x86_64
