Chromium html5 (h264) video

2014-05-20 Thread Lukasz Glebicki
Hi,

Is there any way to watch video in h.264 format in newest Chromium or
permanently switch it off?

Test case: http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/tests/video.html

As a workaround, I set a browser user agent to Opera and flash player is used
on YT.

pdksh to mksh (rc-scripts conflict)

2013-06-26 Thread Lukasz Glebicki
Hello,

When I replaced pdksh to mksh, I wasn't able to login into system because
there wasn't /bin/ksh in /etc/shells.
Is this a correct behaviour not adding /bin/ksh to this file?
Someone who migrate from pdksh and uses /bin/ksh as shell for root/user will
have the same problems.

you need to tell df-fetcher that file is in your dropin, thus .spec
 should have no url.
you can use temporary branch to do so:

 git checkout master
 git pull --rebase
 git checkout -b df
vim *.spec # remove url from SourceX, so it would be only filename
git commit -m df upload *.spec
 git push origin df
 sleep 500
 git push origin :df

This is good idea. I used another method to download sources. I changed dl to
downloads and this helped. In the other hand, why builder script is able to
download it but builder not?

Does anybody has similar problems?

It is no dependency on flash version.

2013-02-16 Thread Lukasz Glebicki
amarok-2.6.0-2is not ready to go to main in that state and there is no
possibility to come back to 2.6.0-1, due to the libcdio-paranoia library,
which cannot be downgraded.

Amarok crashes and log says:

[WARNING] [PluginManager] Failed to get factory 'amarok_collection-
mysqlservercollection' from KPluginLoader: The plugin 'amarok_collection-
mysqlservercollection' uses an incompatible KDE library (4.9.5).

It works with kde 4.10.0 from test but kde is not working well after upgrade.

Hello,
Topic taken from users-pl, which describe unusable cb since version 23.

The problem with chromium-browser occurs with seccomp-filter.

Running chromium with --disable-seccomp-filter-sandbox is a workaround.

Google took me to:

http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=149834

and then to

http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome/branches/1271/src/content/common/sandbox_seccomp_bpf_linux.cc?r1=162147r2=162146pathrev=162147
http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome/trunk/src/content/browser/renderer_host/render_process_host_impl.cc?r1=140792r2=140875pathrev=140875

It seems that source has this patch, but it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

I was reading that pdf and flash are included only in binary version. Based on

you're supposed to build yourself adobe-flash.spec and install resulting
rpm. both for x86 and x86_64:

 $ builder -bb adobe-flash --with license_agreement

I have this one, but I assume plugin from google works faster..

W ogóle najlepiej było by przenieść dyskusję na pld-devel-en jako, że glen
może tu pomóc w usprawnieniu tego kodu.

Here is the linuxrc code:

http://pastebin.com/9sMdy2XC

The problem is that I have root partition on LVM which stands on mdadm mirror
array.

After latest changes, geninitrd doesn't generate proper inframfs image.

Grub config contains root=0edc and initrd fails on mounting 0edc.

System hangs on:
http://dug.im/015c5

I have to change 0edc to /dev/datavg/rootlv in grub.conf to boot property.

After analizing of system logs I see that root=0edc was working fine.

My geninitrd: http://pastebin.com/EHYD5Fy8

 that root=0edc makes no sense...

14, 197 device is what in your real system?

 ls -l /dev| grep 14,|grep 197

No. There is not such a device. The better is that it was working before
problems.

It looks like I'm using 0edc since I have added new disk, which doesn't
belongs to array.

Feb 15 18:40:42 inhell kernel: [0.00] Command line: root=0edc
ramdisk_size=6144 resume=/dev/datavg/swaplv

lilo.conf contains proper definition of root (/dev/datavg/rootlv)

also the screenshot does not seem to match any pld geninitrd image, at
least i don't see where /proc/partitions contents could be dumped into
 console
and your linuxrc you showed,. doesn't have sulogin enabled, so you could
had typed yourself it (by booting with debuginitrd=sh kernel commandline)

I have added cat /proc/partitions to see what devices are during initrd.

and not clear how /run could not be mounted there, as well why
 /proc/partitions is missing

first try geninitrd svn trunk (at least r12546)

if that still fails, attach geninitrd -v ... output

http://pastebin.com/McA1ZKzg

why you have cryptic 0edc anyway, i could understand lilo what
enforces it, but why in grub?

rc-boot or grubby.

http://pastebin.com/1bPfU9RR

After kernel reinstall (see logs above) i have proper lilo.conf and buggy
menu.lst, which are modified after kernel reinstallation:

[root@inhell ~]# ls -l /boot/grub/menu.lst /etc/lilo.conf
-rw--- 2 root root 465 04-16 19:15 /boot/grub/menu.lst
-rw--- 1 root root 513 04-16 19:15 /etc/lilo.conf
