Re: monitor
well this is a little more interesting. If you have on-board graphics and a Yellow (composite) video out you should be able to hook up a TV and treat it like a low resolution monitor. This would depend entirely on the graphics card and driver you have. On Sat, Jan 25, 2014 at 10:58 AM, Michael Havens wrote: > h... Re: monitor
h... I wish I would have done the research first! 1) Many motherboards have a composite NTSC output, the yellow RCA jack. The screen can be redirected to this output in the display setup page or it may need a special driver that came with the motherboard. I went to the display settings (windows xp) and can't find the setting to redirect output to the yellow RCA jack. How do I do it? How do I redirect the output with a linux box? How would I do this with Windows 7/8? :-)~MIKE~(-: On Sat, Jan 25, 2014 at 11:37 AM, Michael Havens wrote: > I was hoping. > > do they have a device that converts from a monitor cable to an rg6 cable? > if so, what is it called and where can I get it? > :-)~MIKE~(-: > --- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.phxlinux.org To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.phxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
