Re: build your own DSN receiver
I wouldn't mind putting one of these together. one thing though, I would like to be able to listen to some of that deep space noise. the human brain (and ears) can sometimes pick out patterns that a computer will miss. Our brains are, after all, a quantum computing matrix. -eric On Oct 9, 2015, at 9:23 PM, Stephen Partington wrote: > Awesome > > On Oct 9, 2015 9:21 PM, "der.hans" wrote: > moin moin, > > last night we had a question about building your own satellite dish for > listening in on the deep space network. > > Looks like someone has figured it out for less than $400. > > https://plus.google.com/+ciprianmoloci/posts/9njsYoZXTzt > > ciao, > > der.hans > -- > # http://www.LuftHans.com/http://www.PhxLinux.org/ > # When I work, I work hard. We want to load about 5 of them in each of two enclosures to start building a Kubernetes cluster on top of Core OS. I7 is quad core, Xeon can go to 18 core and have dual procs. We are currently considering Power Edge blades with 2x14 cores to build private cloud. build your own DSN receiver
moin moin, last night we had a question about building your own satellite dish for listening in on the deep space network. Looks like someone has figured it out for less than $400. https://plus.google.com/+ciprianmoloci/posts/9njsYoZXTzt ciao, der.hans -- # http://www.LuftHans.com/http://www.PhxLinux.org/ # When I work, I work hard. POLICE WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER
Hi, Last night at the meeting several people said they were looking to hire. One of the positions is with the Chandler police department. They need a PHP programmer to do WordPress programming. Looks to be a great opportunity. http://www.chandleraz.gov/default.aspx?pageid=97 Keith --- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.phxlinux.org To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.phxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
